Lorna has worked at the high end of the photographic industry for over 25 years. Coming into the business at an early age from an arts background, she learnt her craft working alongside some of britain's leading photographers.
Leaving London and relocating to her native Devon she established her studio. Dispelling the staid image of social photography, she pioneered the reportage approach in her bridal work and applied her clean, graphic eye to the commercial field. Her unique style has been widely emulated.
Lorna is a salcombe girl - born and bred.
Her grandparents farmed at beadon for many years and she grew up with her siblings in the valley behind south sands.
Her father set up one of salcombe's finest restaurants and both her parents were town mayors at various times.
She has an intimate knowledge of the area, including the major wedding venues in salcombe and across south devon.
Drawing on her vast experience in the industry and training other wedding photographers, lorna has penned several photography books, including the best sellers "the busy girl's guide to digital photography" and "An introduction to wedding photography".
